City & Guilds/NVQ Level 3 in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or equivalent, Knowledge and experience of mechanical systems, Knowledge and experience of key electrical competencies and theory

Experience in data center engineering, 2+ years of data center engineering operations experience

Oversee operation and maintenance of electrical and mechanical
Operate and maintain AWS DCs’ infrastructure

Maintain upkeep and operation of the DC facility
Troubleshoot events within internal SLAs
Take daily operational readings

The successful candidate will oversee the operation and maintenance of the electrical and mechanical infrastructure for Data Centers (DC) in Amazon Web Services (AWS) Cloud regions. Our technicians are operating and maintaining AWS DCs’ world-class mechanical and electrical infrastructure. In addition to technical operations and maintenance, the successful candidate will oversee facility operations and ensure the implementation of safety procedures. The role requires a motivated, self-managed individual who demonstrates initiative and proactively seeks solutions to problems while striving for operational excellence. The work follows a process-oriented approach: the individual needs a strong willingness to learn new processes and adapt to rapidly changing operational scenarios with conflicting priorities.
