What They're Looking For.
Must Have
Demonstrated experience leading engineering teams within electrical manufacturing or power systems environments, background in low-voltage switchboard, switchgear, or power distribution system design, Familiarity with UL 891 and/or UL 1558 standards, Ability to review and guide complex electrical system designs and engineering documentation, Experience supporting technical proposals, BOM development, and quotation activities, communication and collaboration skills across engineering, manufacturing, sales, and customer teams, Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced technical environment

## Description Manager, Power Systems Engineering – Low Voltage Distribution Location: Marietta, OH Employment Type: Direct Hire Compensation: $160,000+ annually (depending on experience) Position Summary A growing power systems organization is seeking an Engineering Manager to lead the development and delivery of low-voltage switchboard solutions used in mission-critical environments, including data center applications. This role blends team leadership with technical oversight, ensuring designs are accurate, manufacturable, and aligned with performance expectations. The position partners closely with internal teams and customers to support execution, improve engineering processes, and maintain high standards across all deliverables. ## Primary Responsibilities Team Leadership & Engineering Management Lead and mentor a multidisciplinary engineering team, including electrical and mechanical engineering personnel Establish expectations related to quality, accountability, technical accuracy, and project execution Review and approve engineering drawings, design packages, bills of materials, and supporting technical documentation Drive continuous improvement initiatives related to engineering workflows, design processes, and team efficiency Support professional development and technical growth within the engineering group Technical Oversight & System Design Oversee the design and configuration of low-voltage switchboard and power distribution systems Support applications involving UL 891 and UL 1558 standards Ensure engineering solutions align with customer specifications, one-line diagrams, and operational requirements Guide development of breaker configurations, bus systems, metering packages, protection schemes, and control integration Promote standardized and scalable engineering design practices across projects Cross-Functional Coordination Collaborate with manufacturing teams to ensure designs support efficient production and assembly processes Partner with estimat
