Must Have
Bachelor's degree in engineering, Registration as a Professional Engineer (P. Eng.) in Ontario, 10+ years of experience in nuclear licensing or nuclear engineering, Experience leading or supervising technical teams, Experience working in multidisciplinary engineering environments, Demonstrated experience leading engineering scopes, Demonstrated experience leading technical teams on complex projects, Proven ability to mentor engineers, Proven ability to mentor designers, Technical judgment, Problem-solving capability
Nice to Have
Knowledge of CANDU reactor design, Nuclear Steam Plant (NSP) experience, Balance of Plant (BOP) experience, Experience with safety systems, Experience with heat transport, Experience with containment, Experience with moderator, Experience with plant control systems, Knowledge of deterministic safety analysis (DSA), Knowledge of probabilistic safety analysis (PSA), Familiarity with applicable nuclear codes and standards, Familiarity with CATHENA, Familiarity with NUCIRC, Familiarity with GOTHIC, Familiarity with MAAP, Familiarity with CAFTA, Familiarity with CFAST, Familiarity with Risk Spectrum
