Foster a Safe Remote Team Culture: Within your first weeks, you establish a regular cadence of weekly 1:1s and take the time to truly get to know and understand your engineers. You foster an environment of trust and psychological safety on your teams, while building strong, collaborative relationships with the Product Owners of your teams, other key stakeholders, the Pega Chapter Lead, and your peer EMs. Build Your Own Pega Foundation (if not present already): In your first month you use the Pega Academy (online) to get a solid and basic overview of Pega low-code technology, including the case lifecycle, rules-based architecture, deployment with branches and pipelines, and how testing Pega software works.
