What They're Looking For.
Must Have
Experience managing or leading an engineering team in a platform, enablement, or infrastructure context, including hiring, performance management, and career development., Deep credibility in mobile engineering (iOS, Android, or both) with the ability to reason across mobile build systems, CI/CD, frameworks, and release management., Track record of driving outcomes end-to-end, from problem definition through implementation, rollout, adoption, and measurement., Demonstrated ability to align stakeholders and drive adoption across teams without direct authority., Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate in a multicultural, multilingual environment and explain complex technical trade-offs to non-technical leadership.
Nice to Have
Experience with InnerSource models and community-driven engineering practices., Familiarity with agentic development workflows, AI-assisted coding tools, and/or agent interfaces such as CLIs, MCPs, Skills., Experience operating in both platform and product engineering organizations., Experience with Bazel, large-scale monorepo management, or mobile CI/CD optimization at scale., Background in enablement or developer experience organizations where success is measured by customer team outcomes., Japanese: Independent (CEFR - B2) Preferred, English: Independent (CEFR - B2)
