What They're Looking For.
Must Have
6+ years of relevant work experience in software engineering, 2+ years of experience managing engineering teams, The ability to quickly ramp up on complex business domains and become a trusted technical partner to non-engineering stakeholders, Proven track record of shipping well-designed, scalable systems tested for performance and reliability, Experience designing and operating distributed, event-driven systems in a cloud environment, understanding of DevOps best practices, including CI/CD, monitoring, alerting, and production support, Experience with agile methodologies such as SCRUM or Kanban, BAS in Computer Science or a closely related field, or equivalent practical experience
Nice to Have
Exposure to Supply Chain, Retail, or Omnichannel fulfillment operations, Experience modernizing legacy platforms or untangling long-lived workarounds in a large enterprise environment, Familiarity with event-driven architectures and messaging platforms (e. g. , Kafka), Experience working across multi-banner or multi-channel retail environments
