THE OPPORTUNITY Help define how millions of members first experience Hinge Health. As the Engineering Manager for Enrollment, you’ll lead the mobile team that understands new members and their healthcare needs, ensuring every downstream experience at Hinge Health starts from a strong, trusted foundation. You’ll own the Enrollment surface end-to-end—migrating it to a mobile-first experience, evolving it into a platform for every new program we launch, and driving rigorous experimentation to improve conversion and long-term engagement. You’ll partner closely with senior leadership, Product, Design, and Marketing across our hubs in San Francisco, Montreal, and Bangalore to build an Enrollment experience that’s fast, flexible, and deeply member-centric. As a hands-on engineering leader, you’ll stay close to the stack, regularly contributing to and reviewing code (~15% of your time) while building a high-performing team around you.   WHAT YOU’LL ACCOMPLISH In your first 3 months, you will: - Lead and support a team of 6 engineers building in our primary React Native (Phoenix) mobile codebase, establishing clear goals, rituals, and expectations. - Deeply understand the current web-only Enrollment funnel, key metrics, and member journeys across programs and long-tenure cohorts. - Build strong partnerships with Product, Design, and Marketing to align on the Enrollment strategy, experimentation roadmap, and success metrics. In your first 6 months, you will: - Lead the migration of Enrollment to a mobile-first experience, designing and shipping clean, modern flows that improve speed, usability, and completion rates. - Lay the foundations of Enrollment as a platform—defining extension patterns, APIs, and guardrails so pods across the neighborhood can safely build on top of Enrollment without destabilizing core flows. - Stand up and manage a rigorous portfolio of A/B experiments to optimize enrollment conversion, from funnel optimizations to lifecycle and reactivation flows. -
