What They're Looking For.
Must Have
5+ years of software development experience, 3+ years of leading the engineering team as technical manager in a technology-driven company, Demonstrated leadership to continuously improve products together with the team, Strong communication and active listening skills to collaborate with diverse stakeholders and achieve shared goals, Ability to support technical decision-making and guide the engineering team by bridging between engineering and non-engineering teams to align on technical requirements, Proficiency in at least one frontend and one backend language (JavaScript, Typescript, Go, Java, Swift, Kotlin, Dart), Experience developing and releasing web and/or mobile applications serving a large number(1k~) of active users, Strong problem-solving skills, Deep understanding of agile methodologies, Experience leading agile development teams (5 and more members), Proficiency in business level English
Nice to Have
2 years of experience of software development (non private, AI Driven) such as frontend(or mobile) systems and backend systems, Experience in stakeholder management including influencing and collaborating with other teams and leaders to drive adoption of new technologies, Experience designing and implementing large-scale distributed systems, Experience working on multiple products that have reached production, Lead continuous improvement (Kaizen) based on User’s feedback and Genchi-Genbutsu, Proficiency in Business-level Japanese
