What They're Looking For.
Must Have
5+ years of management experience, preferably in software development, operational ownership with a bias towards action, Sound judgement in high-stakes situations, Experience with release trains, Familiarity with air-gapped environments, A record of improving release quality and organizational execution, understanding of GitOps principles with experience enforcing declarative, automated, auditable, and controlled promotion of changes across environments
Nice to Have
Experience supporting deployments in defense, government, or other highly regulated industries, Familiarity with Risk Management Frameworks (RMF) or similar compliance frameworks that feed into authorization pathways such as FedRAMP, Experience building internal developer platforms or standardized deployment workflows, Background in software engineering
