What They're Looking For.
Must Have
3–5+ years as an Engineering Manager in a software development environment, direct experience leading cross-functional engineering teams, technical background in backend and/or API development, Hands-on experience with agentic coding workflows, AI-assisted development, taking software from spec to production, Proven experience delivering cloud-native, production-grade APIs and developer-facing platforms, Experience working with AI/LLM technologies, automation frameworks, or document processing systems, knowledge of CI/CD, modern DevOps practices, agile/scrum methodologies, Excellent communication and leadership, comfortable influencing across engineering, product, and commercial stakeholders, Based in Porto, Portugal with the ability to collaborate regularly with our Dublin team
Nice to Have
Python or similar modern languages, Familiarity with MCP servers, no-code tooling, or workflow automation platforms
