What You'll Achieve.
ensuring designs, processes, and deliverables meet customer requirements, Indian statutory norms, and international standards; delivering engineering outputs on time, within budget, and to defined quality standards; Reduce design errors, rework, and cost of poor quality (COPQ); enhance quality, productivity, and standardization
Industry & Context.
robust root cause analysis of test failures and field failures
Willingness to travel for both domestic and international assignments
What They're Looking For.
Must Have
12 to 15 years of experience in Bushing Design, Transformer Design or High Voltage Electrical Commodities (GIS), People management experience is mandatory, hands‑on experience in mechanical design and engineering, preferably in bushing, insulation systems, or high‑voltage equipment, Proficiency in 3D CAD tools (CREO or equivalent), Experience working in a factory engineering environment in India, with understanding of local manufacturing realities and supplier ecosystem, Ability to manage cross‑functional and multicultural stakeholders, including global engineering teams and customers
Nice to Have
Exposure to breaker development, product care, or similar electro‑mechanical products is an advantage
