We are currently seeking an Engineering Manager to join our team at Featherstone on a 6 month fixed term basis. You will manage, develop and lead the site engineering team to effectively deliver an operationally excellent factory in line with the business requirements. You must be driven, have a can-do attitude and a willingness to mentor, grow and develop the members of your team. Working hours: Monday to Friday, 8.30-17.00 with a degree of flexibility Key Duties of an Engineering Manager: * Ensure Risk assessments and method statements are compliant with all relevant Health & Safety legislation and company procedures e.g. contractor control, isolation and lock off. * Devise, compile & implement maintenance procedures, engineering standards / specifications as required. * Co-ordinate the activities of the maintenance team, providing clear, concise direction and counselling to the team to maximise employee contribution e.g. Continuous Improvement and ensure delivery of the maintenance plan as agreed with the General Manager. * Responsible for the management of the sites maintenance budget. * Review Engineering competency and ensure appropriate training and development plans are set and implemented to meet both the individual and the business needs. * Drive the development and utilisation of the company’s CMMS and validate the its data integrity to cause and effect analysis level e.g. PPM plans are robust and appropriate. * Own the OEE loss reduction programme for the engineering related categories, using appropriate tools, techniques and resources e.g. RCAs. * Participate in capital projects ensuring that rel
