Proven experience of delivering technical leadership in projects within a technically complex and dynamic environment, Demonstrable awareness of integrated management system, Demonstrate significant expertise in relevant technical discipline, Experience of successfully engaging groups of stakeholders and facilitating issues resolution, Proven ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with all project team members, Excellent verbal and written communication skills, Good presentation skills, Influencing skills, Facilitation skills, Excellent communication skills, Organisational skills, Able to develop relationships, Maintain effective networks, Numerical skills, Analytical skills, Proven knowledge and experience of using the EU directives, British Standards, Company standards and procedures, Good knowledge of CDM Regulations, Knowledge of Project Management, Experience of applying APM body of knowledge, Experience of applying Prince 2, BPSS required, SC required, Ability to travel Assystem offices and customer sites within UK, Undertake work packages supporting major UK and international Nuclear Clients, Meet certain residency criteria, Attain a minimum level of UK security clearance
Nice to Have
Ideally within the Nuclear Energy sector or similar regulated environment, Detailed understanding of PWR/EPR design, Experience in PWR/EPR construction
What You'll Do.
Responsible for timely delivery of defined life-cycle handover points
Expediting review and acceptance by stakeholders
Managing and resolving engineering issues
Engaging appropriate approval bodies when Safety Case is impacted
Liaison with all parties contributing to delivery of works
Set up a process to prioritise queries and issues
Deliver to plan all engineering deliverables
Ensure proper engineering support is provided
Ensure delivery to plan of Technical Acceptance
Support in management of Engineering-related risks
Ensure design interfaces and supplier feedback are managed
Support Quality Management Lead by driving technical resolution of NCRs
Follow-up equipment qualification programmes
How You'll Work.
Team & Collaboration
Engaging appropriate approval bodies; Liaison with all parties contributing to delivery of works; Ensuring that information is exchanged as required; Ensuring that all parties deliver their roles to plan; Collaboration and support from key stakeholder; Interfacing topics during installation phase; Issues are escalated and responded to in a timely manner; Supplier feedback are effectively managed and controlled
