Proven track record of leading engineering teams delivering production-quality products in fast-paced, global environments, Leadership skills in setting vision, fostering autonomy, mentoring, and driving collaboration across global, fast-paced environments, Experience leading teams to deliver production-quality products according to industry standards, Excellent technical writing skills, Ability to guide the development and deployment of complex systems into production, Hands-on technical leader with coding skills and a pragmatic approach, Deep experience in diagnosing and preventing performance and optimization issues, Champion clean architecture, CI/CD, testing best practices, and coding standards, Solid background in cloud-native environments (AWS serverless preferred), Microservices, Event-driven architectures, Experience in building developer tools such as CLIs, SDKs, and developer portals, Extensive experience with JavaScript, Extensive experience with TypeScript, Extensive experience with Node.js, Hands-on with REST APIs, Test-Driven Development, Committed to privacy by design, Committed to security, Committed to high-performance systems, Committed to inclusive communication

What You'll Do.
Leading continued enhancement and development of a multi-component platform
Leading the engineering team to develop features and improvements to the Affinidi Elements product
Analyzing and interpreting highly complex problems and converting them into actionable tasks for the team
Collaborating with Product Management and other stakeholders (e. g. UX) to maintain a high bar for quality
Collaborating in building the product and technology roadmap with peers
Advocating for improvements to product quality
Guiding the team in solving technical problems with large scope and complexity
Guiding the team in crafting code that meets internal standards for style
Maintaining and advocating for standards through best practices within the team and department
Owning delivery of significantly complex features and improvements
Leading by example and constantly coaching and mentoring engineers

About the role: We are in search of a self-motivated, solution-oriented and experienced Engineering Manager to join our Affinidi Elements team. In this role, you will work with global peers on teams dedicated to areas of the product portfolio, from the product, design, infrastructure, architecture, and back/front-end engineering teams. You will be responsible for leading continued enhancement and development of a multi-component platform, where your expert skills in designing, architecting, and building quality systems will intersect with your leadership skills of building high performing team culture and growing your team members.
