Full Job Description
As an Engineering Manager, you will lead a tight-knit, dynamic team of engineers who take pride in high coding standards and modern development practices. You will own one of Melio's impactful, user-facing product areas, making strategic decisions, enhancing workflows, and supporting your team members. Using technologies such as React, Node.js, AWS, and scalable databases, you will build a unique experience in the world of B2B payments. Each team member is an all-around player who influences the product from the overall experience to development, and you will be no different. You should be passionate about building a product end-to-end, overseeing the UX, design, coding, testing, and deployment phases. Qualifications to apply for this role: 7+ years of professional experience as a software engineer with frontend and backend development. 2+ years experience managing a team of engineers. 2+ years of hands-on experience with React. 2+ years of hands-on experience with NodeJS. Experience in continuous delivery including automated tests. A deep understanding of production systems and the architecture of web products.
