What They're Looking For.
Must Have
5+ years of experience managing engineering or technical teams, proven track record of developing talent, Deep experience with Workday (HCM), solid understanding of the HR tech ecosystem (ATS, LMS, Payroll), experience delivering technical roadmaps, making architecture/integration decisions (APIs, identity/SSO, data model, vendor integrations), advanced skills in Workday reporting, calculated fields, and dashboard creation, Demonstrated success building partnerships across HR, engineering, analytics and compliance, ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders, You use data to prioritize your roadmap and measure the success of your team's output, comfortable navigating unclear requirements and shifting priorities, build structure out of chaos and make pragmatic decisions even when all the facts aren't yet available
Nice to Have
Experience working in a regulated financial environment with data privacy and audit requirements (DORA, SOX, and GDPR), led a team through a major system implementation or migration (e. g. , migrating an ATS or LMS), Expert-level proficiency or certification in Agile methodologies

Own the technical roadmap of the team

and growth of 5 engineers through feedback and active coaching
Lead architectural reviews of integrations
identify areas for optimisation
Oversee the creation of a clear Reporting Catalogue for Workday
optimising connections and dashboard performance
supporting the integration of Visier as our People Reporting tool of choice
Partner with the People Team to develop long-term strategy
communicate complex technical trade-offs to non-technical stakeholders
Take on foundational leadership responsibilities for the Platform Tribe in Hyderabad
helping to scale the local engineering presence
