What They're Looking For.
Must Have
Previous experience leading cross-functional engineering teams, typically consisting of 4–6 engineers across frontend, backend, and full-stack disciplines., Experience leveraging AI-assisted development tools to improve engineering productivity, code quality, and team velocity., expertise building frontend applications with React and Typescript or backend systems with Elixir and Phoenix., Experience working with relational databases., Experience working with Typescript and GraphQL., Experience with DevOps practices, including infrastructure management and deployments.
Nice to Have
Experience building GraphQL APIs with Apollo Client and Absinthe., Experience with Vercel and Next. js., Understanding of Postgres database design and optimization., DevOps experience deploying and configuring AWS services and Kubernetes infrastructure using Terraform.

Ensure systems are secure
and operationally reliable in production environments.
Evaluate technical approaches and partner with leadership to make informed architectural and product decisions.
Conduct code reviews and ensure the team ships complete
and well-tested features.
Advocate for engineering best practices and continuously improve internal processes and developer workflows.
Support the hiring and onboarding of a growing engineering organization.
Mentor engineers across varying levels of experience.
