Ensure that equipment meets or exceeds customer requirements with respect to safety, quality, flexibility and throughput; meet long term customer required cost reductions and maintain profitability; optimize performance; solve for root cause; implement the equipment to implement; improve manufacturing process safety, quality, productivity and cost reduction; successful attainment of customer quality milestones

Must Have
2 years of relevant experience

Robotic spot/MIG weld assembly experience, PMP/ P. ENG. Certification, Mechanical Aptitude

Ensure equipment meets or exceeds customer requirements (safety

Manage capital equipment and tooling for internal manufacturing systems
Prepare cycle-time analysis and/or time studies
Analyze downtime data and quality concerns
Generate and implement solutions for root cause
Prepare technical presentations
Review feasibility of engineering changes
Quote financial impacts of changes
and commission equipment
Lead root cause investigations for machine breakdowns and quality defects
Generate scope of work documents
Work with vendors and integrators to design and launch new manufacturing and assembly processes
and implement new technologies
Assist in setting up preventative/predictive maintenance requirements
and control timeline planning
and resources for projects
Travel to customers/vendors to investigate quality tooling build process and buyoffs
and other documentation
Coordinate and assist in activities for successful attainment of customer quality milestones
Provide product design direction based on part manufacturability
