 If you graduate between May-August 2026 with a Bachelor’s Degree in accordance with the requirements below, you can apply for this position. TxDOT’s Austin District is looking for Engineering Assistants I, II or III in our Austin Metro Engineering Assistant Program . This program will assist in training in a rotation of areas and providing you with experience for your PE license. This position reports to the Austin Area Offices and District Headquarters Offices comprised of a staff that includes licensed engineers, inspectors, designers, recordkeepers and engineering assistants.
