Full Job Description
The Amarillo District is looking for an Engineering Assistant I or II for the EA Program. This position will perform a variety of engineering tasks across design, construction, inspection, maintenance, surveying, and transportation operations. This role includes job rotation, training, and continuing education aimed at pursuing professional engineering licensure. Work is supervised by a licensed engineer and involves collaboration with local agencies, contractors, and private entities. Participation in the Engineering Assistant Career Development Program (EACDP) requires that employees sign a Program Agreement, which outlines employee responsibilities and service time commitment.
