Must Have
Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Chem. , Indus. , Mech. , Elec. ) or related field, 7+ years of related experience, minimum of 3 years in a management capacity, mechanical and electrical expertise, experience in troubleshooting and problem solving, Demonstrated knowledge of Canadian Engineering standards, manual dexterity
Nice to Have
master’s degree, Professional Engineering designation, Experience working in a manufacturing, pharmaceutical and/or GMP facility, Six Sigma, Lean or TPS experience /certification, Working knowledge of CAD systems, Demonstrable leadership experience at Catalent (including but not limited to participation in Catalent-sponsored leadership programs such as NGGL, GOLD, LEAD Now, GM Excellence, and GROW) may be considered in place of external experience.

**Engineering and Maintenance Manager** **Position Summary** * Work Schedule: Shifts: Regular working hours: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM or 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM with a 30-minute unpaid lunch. * This position is 100% on-site at the Windsor site. This position is located in Windsor, Ontario, one of two sites located in Canada offering softgel development and manufacturing capabilities for the Pharmaceutical and Consumer Health industries. We have a broad range of integrated formulation, manufacturing, analytical and packaging services to offer full-service turnkey solutions. Reporting to the Director of Operations, the Engineering & Maintenance Manager plays a critical leadership role in driving operational excellence and ensuring the reliability, safety, and efficiency of all plant equipment and systems. This position is accountable for maximizing production output and quality through proactive maintenance strategies, timely repairs, and innovative equipment upgrades. Beyond maintenance, the Engineering & Maintenance Manager leads the engineering function that supports core manufacturing processes and delivers high-impact projects aligned with the organization’s strategic goals while also overseeing facilities management, ensuring that all equipment, infrastructure, and processes operate at peak performance and meet all regulatory and corporate compliance standards.
