What They're Looking For.
Must Have
Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Marine Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or a related technical discipline, Minimum 2–5 years of hands-on experience in Diesel engines, Minimum 2–5 years of hands-on experience in Power generation systems, Minimum 2–5 years of hands-on experience in Marine engines, Minimum 2–5 years of hands-on experience in Heavy equipment or industrial engines, mechanical aptitude with experience in engine component overhaul and repair, Knowledge of diesel fuel systems including Fuel pumps, Knowledge of diesel fuel systems including Injectors, Knowledge of diesel fuel systems including Governors, Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, Ability to read and interpret schematics, Ability to read and interpret OEM manuals, Hands-on troubleshooting capability with a structured and analytical approach, Comfortable working in a fast-paced, production-oriented workshop environment, Good communication and teamwork skills, Willingness to travel regionally when required

This role is directly connected to shopfloor production and plays a critical role in sustaining workshop throughput, turnaround time (TAT), and delivery commitments across the APAC region. The successful candidate will support the overhaul and restoration of critical engine components including cylinder heads, water pumps, and turbochargers for both classic and modern engine platforms. Operating in a production-driven environment, this role requires strong technical fundamentals, hands-on mechanical competency, attention to detail, and the ability to execute work safely and efficiently in accordance with OEM standards. **What you will be doing:** * Perform disassembly, inspection, repair, overhaul, and reassembly of engine components including: * Cylinder heads * Water pumps * Turbochargers * Carry out maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair activities for mtu engines and associated systems within the workshop environment. * Support installation, commissioning, and servicing activities when required at customer sites. * Execute assigned tasks
