What They're Looking For.
Must Have
5 years of related experience within a military or aerospace manufacturing environment, Complex wire harness assembly and interconnect integration, SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or similar 3D/CAD tools, IPC/WHMA-A-620 and J-STD-001, Military and aerospace product standards and compliance requirements, Schematic interpretation, wire sizing, connector selection, overmolding, and potting techniques, Root cause analysis and RCCA methodologies, Engineering mindset – problem solving and critical thinking, Proactive mindset, Proficiency with hand tools, Ability to read, understand, and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings, Comfort with change orders, revision control, and configuration management systems, Advanced soldering and hand assembly, Ability to mentor, train, and lead less experienced technicians, organizational, documentation, and communication skills, Familiarity with ERP/MES systems and change management workflows, Must be a U. S. person or able to comply with ITAR regulations
Nice to Have
Build-to-print manufacturing experience, IPC/WHMA-A-620 and J-STD-001 (certification preferred)
What You'll Do.
Translate customer requirements into manufacturable solutions
Own technical execution on production floor
Resolve manufacturability challenges
Support new product introduction
Drive consistent build processes
Interpret technical data packages
Make real-time decisions on build approach
Ensure alignment between customer requirements and production capability
Own engineering efforts for assigned projects
Solve engineering and technical problems
Create and revise manufacturing travelers
Create and revise visual work instructions
Create and revise process documentation
Engage in internal training efforts
Lead coordination between teams
Resolve manufacturability and design issues
Set up and oversee test equipment
Provide training on equipment
Provide on-the-floor support
Troubleshoot during builds
Own continuous improvement of manufacturing processes
Analyze build performance
Drive corrective actions
Act as technical point of contact
Communicate technical risks
Support customer interactions
Make and own technical decisions
Own resolution of technical issues
Escalate complex design or compliance risks
Operate independently on decisions
Participate in ad-hoc projects
How You'll Work.
Team & Collaboration
Key technical interface between customers, engineering, quality, and production; Coordinate between Engineering, Quality, and Production teams; Cross-functional leadership with Engineering, Quality, Production, and Supply Chain; Align with Engineering Manager on critical decisions

Communicate effectively with internal teams and external customers/vendors; Communication skills
