Must Have
1-5 years of experience using SolidWorks or equivalent 3D CAD software, Hands-on mechanical fabrication, assembly, or integration experience through professional work, military experience, trade programs, technical certifications, personal projects, or related experience, Familiarity with mechanical systems, materials, manufacturing processes, and hardware integration practices, Experience reading and interpreting mechanical drawings and technical documentation, Ability to obtain a US Security Clearance for which the US Government requires US Citizenship, A final U. And when we watch our satellites launch, we know each one of us made it happen. **_Job Summary_ : ** As an Engineer Technical Specialist – Mechanical Systems, you will support the mechanical design, configuration, fabrication, and integration of satellite structures and hardware. The parts and systems you may work on range from spacecraft primary and secondary structure, to ground support equipment interfaces and integration accommodations, to mechanisms and deployable structures. In this role, you will assist with the development, assembly, testing, and troubleshooting of mechanical hardware throughout the spacecraft lifecycle, including prototyping, integration, test, transport, launch, and operational support activities. This position’s internal job code is Engineer Technical Specialist.
