An instrumentation systems engineer works closely with a cross-functional team of hardware and software design engineers to drive ADI’s strategy for precision test and measurement systems, identify optimal system-level solutions, and influence new product definitions that enable world class solutions. **Responsibilities include, but not limited to:** \- Hands on characterization and bring up of hardware and firmware components. \- Utilize lab equipment such multimeters, oscilloscopes, power supplies and spectrum analyzers, to gather data on new hardware designs. \- Based on data gathered, drive schematic or firmware changes to improve performance \- Document performance and procedures to enable other users to utilize designs. \- Work directly with customers to understand their requirements for next generation systems and incorporate these requirements into new, industry leading, hardware and software solutions **Minimum qualifications** \- BSEE or BSCS degree program \- Experience with C/C++, Matlab/Si
