Full Job Description

Our engineering and product innovation help keep soldiers and firefighters safe, is critical in building and keeping communities clean and helps people do their jobs every day.** The Systems Engineer will participate in engineering activities to ensure successful product development, timely execution of programs, and total customer satisfaction. As a Systems Engineer, you will work multiple engineering disciplines and product development teams ensuring the logical creation and systematic conversion of customer or product requirements into total systems solutions with a focus on future technology and integrated systems. Areas include electro-hydraulic control systems, hybrid and electric vehicles, autonomous vehicle systems, advanced suspension systems, connected vehicle systems, material handling systems and other auxiliary systems and technology for on-road and off-road vehicle applications. You will establish system architecture, perform system trades and analysis, flow down the architecture concept of operations (CONOPS) into requirements and interfaces, and support verification and validation planning and execution. **YOUR IMPACT** Under close supervision and on projects of limited complexity: * Draft, review, and release requirements specification documents, including defining the requirements and verification baseline. * Support requirements, design, and verification team projects and coordinate regularly with key partners to maintain program objectives. * Lead the creation of user need requirements and decomposition of those requirements to system and subsystem requirements. * Collaborate cross functional with multiple disciplines to identify new, obsolete or adjusted regulatory standards (e.g. FDA or IEC). * Review and app
