What They're Looking For.

Must Have

Bachelor of Science in Mechanical, Manufacturing, or Aerospace Engineering, 3+ years of applicable experience, Engineering fundamentals for mechanical design and manufacturing, Direct experience manufacturing hardware (i. e. castings, forgings, additively manufactured components, welding, machining, cleaning, non-destructive testing methods, tight tolerance assembly, leak testing, and final acceptance testing of integrated hardware), Experience developing/starting new manufacturing processes, written, personal, technical, and software skills (CAD, Scheduling, Issue Tracking, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc)

Nice to Have

Direct turbomachinery manufacturing and manufacturing engineering experience in any industry (rocket engines, jet engines, land-based gas turbines, oil and gas, automotive, etc)

What You'll Do.

Develop turbomachinery component manufacturing processes

Enhance turbomachinery assembly processes

Translate engineering intent into hardware

Prepare turbopumps for test

Deploy new manufacturing methods

Conduct DFMA and PFMEA studies

Develop manufacturing work instructions

Lead manufacturing and build sequences

Review engineering drawings

Develop process control measures

Support repair and rework activities

Design custom manufacturing equipment

Collaborate with suppliers

Perform root cause analyses

Design material handling

Handle hardware configuration
