What They're Looking For.
Must Have
Bachelor’s degree in civil or environmental engineering, or a related engineering discipline, Engineering-in-Training (EIT) certification or have the ability to obtain within a year of employment, 4 years of relevant land development engineering experience, Private-sector commercial, residential, and mixed-use land development, Preparing engineering reports, civil construction plans, and permitting submittals, Working within small to mid-sized design teams, Providing land development engineering services in Texas, Knowledgeable of stormwater analysis, site drainage, and civil design standards, Practical application of various software such as AutoCAD Civil 3D, StormCAD, Hydraflow Express, Bentley storm suites and other common hydrologic/hydraulic modeling tools, Must possess a valid driver's license and maintain a clean driving position requires operating a company or personal vehicle during work hours for business-related travel
Nice to Have
Central Texas market experience, particularly the San Antonio and Austin regions, Familiarity with local and state permitting agencies and development regulations, Experience on private site development and public works projects, including street, drainage, and utility design, as stand-alone assignments or as part of multidisciplinary project teams, stormwater and hydrologic/hydraulic expertise
