Must Have
Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Polymer Science, Chemistry, or a related field, Minimum 3 years of manufacturing engineering experience, technical competence in material development, validation, and process optimization, Experience in process development, optimization, DOE, correlation studies, and experimental design, Proficiency in statistical analysis tools such as Minitab, JMP, SPSS or similar statistical software, leadership and problem-solving skills with the ability to work effectively across cross functional teams, Excellent teamwork, coordination, and interpersonal skills, Native Thai and advance English skills (written, verbal and presentation skills)
Nice to Have
glove manufacturing is advantageous, Knowledge of FDA medical device validation requirements is preferred
What You'll Do.
Lead material characterization activities to establish material specifications and testing requirements
Provide technical expertise in material improvement
and technology scale-up
Lead new material development projects and alternate material/source qualification
Conduct laboratory trials for new or alternative materials
Collaborate with universities
and external partners to advance material technologies
Coordinate with Packaging Technology to understand new packaging technologies related to materials and machinery
Work closely with R&D
and Purchasing to define material specifications and testing requirements
Provide technical support for material-related issues
Participate in MRB evaluations
Monitor key material property trends
Support VIP projects and other strategic initiatives related to material science
Support additional tasks related to the role as needed
Ensure compliance with company GMP

**Location:** Rayong, Thailand **Reporting to:** Manufacturing Engineering Assistant Manager **Summary** * Lead material characterization activities to establish material specifications and testing requirements following CTQ principles. * Provide technical expertise in material improvement, validation, and technology scale-up, including new material development and alternate source qualification. * Collaborate with R&D and Packaging Technology teams to ensure full understanding of material characteristics, usage impact, and testing requirements. **Job Description** * Lead new material development projects and alternate material/source qualification to support business continuity and cost improvement. * Conduct laboratory trials for new or alternative materials and provide study results to support feasibility studies and validation protocols. * Collaborate with universities, research institutes, and external partners to advance material technologies and establish material specifications and test requirements. * Coordinate with Packaging Technology to understand new packaging technologies related to materials and machinery. * Work closely with R&D, Packaging Technology, and Purchasing to define material specifications and testing requirements for new materials. * Provide technical support for material-related issues and participate in MRB evaluations when required. * Monitor key material property trends, conduct correlation studies with product quality, and recommend appropriate actions. * Support VIP projects and other strategic initiatives related to material science. * Support additional tasks related to the role as needed. * Ensure compliance with company GMP, safety, and EHS standards. **Qualifications & Experience** * Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Polymer Science, Chemistry, or a related field. * Minimum 3 years of manufacturing engineering experience; experience in glove manufacturing is advantageous. * Strong technical competence in material devel
