What They're Looking For.
Must Have
Bachelor's Degree Engineering Program that is accredited through the Engineering Accreditation Commission, 2 years of related experience
What You'll Do.
technical review and oversight of distributed energy resource (DER) interconnections
ensuring projects meet compliance standards
supporting grid reliability
enabling the transition to a cleaner energy mix
identifying and correcting unsafe conditions
proposing solutions to customer needs and expectations
making recommendations for changing processes and procedures
facilitating meetings and leading discussions with stakeholders
interpreting governmental regulations
regional or company business practices
applying technical knowledge to risk assessment
making risk decisions
participating as a key team member in addressing technical or operational problems
participating in departmental budgeting and planning processes
developing scopes of work with cost estimates
determining classification between capital investment projects and O&M spend work
building models and performing power flow studies or analysis
supporting modifications to existing or development of new agreements
supporting technical reviews and studies related to distribution energy resource interconnection applications
applying power quality concepts
