Full Job Description
**What you will do** The Product/Contract Engineer is responsible for mechanical and electrical engineering analysis, detailed design and development of special requirements, as well as selection of air- and water-cooled chillers components and systems, including providing support to the production, laboratory, service, applications, and marketing teams. **How you will do it** * Investigates and analyses product design proposals and able to conceptualize and implement design ideas into the product. * Proficient at preparing, checking, and coordinating the release of documentation to support designs. * Responsible for technical direction to application engineers, designers, factory operations, product marketing, and product technical service. * Proficient at selecting the most suitable electrical and mechanical components. * Uses standard and sophisticated technical and mathematical principles, theories, concepts, techniques, processes, and standard methodologies in field. * Responsible for engineering drawings including electrical schematics, bill of materials. * Responsible for engineering drawings including electrical schematics, bill of materials. * Experience with mechanical systems and material resource planning (MRP) software also a plus. * Adheres to the Company’s Code of Conduct and Business Ethics standards. Implementing prevention risks tools such as DFMEA. * Creates specifications, requirements, and criteria for concepts, performance, and production. * Designs and develops devices in accordance with the various phases of a program schedule. * Develops, maintains, and releases engineering drawings, system designs, or engineering documentation. * Provides manufacturing support ensuring products are built according to customer requirements and product specifications. * Abide by the company's ethics policy, company system, policy and process, and comply with the quality requirements related to the position. * Complete the task temporarily assigned by the supe
