Supports a comprehensive asset strategy for all electric (Transmission
Distribution & Substation) assets that aligns with corporate objectives
emphasizing reliability
Develops an understanding of the electric system including an understanding of IEEE Reliability Index (SAIFI
contingency scenarios
and both state (NYS PSC) and federal (FERC) regulatory in addition
supports documentation requirements
including compliance for NERC standards
Performs system analyses to analyze the electric systems performance under various conditions
Develops and recommends statements of engineering investigates planning methods and procedures of the electric utility industry
Supports a portfolio of operational research & development initiatives which can include - piloting emerging technologies
facilitating proof-of-concept projects
and translating successful trials into scalable operational solutions
Provides strategic input and oversight for enterprise asset-management systems and related data platforms
ensuring they are maintained
aligned with evolving business needs
and continuously enhanced to support reliability
and financial objectives
Partners with high-performing
