What They're Looking For.
Must Have
Minimum CCNP Enterprise (or equivalent advanced certification), 7+ years of hands-on experience in enterprise LAN engineering and operations, expertise in routing and switching including VLANs, STP, HSRP/VRRP, OSPF, and campus design, Advanced knowledge of enterprise switching platforms such as Cisco Catalyst, Aruba CX, Juniper EX, or similar, expertise in firewalling (Palo Alto) including creation and maintenance of rulesets, as well as monitoring of traffic flows, Experience with Splunk for monitoring, log analysis and troubleshooting, Hands-on knowledge of network monitoring tools for device health, availability, and performance, understanding of 802.1X, NAC, and access control technologies (Cisco ISE, ClearPass, or similar), Experience with incident management, root cause analysis, and major outage resolution
Nice to Have
Network automation skills using Python or Ansible is a nice to have
