What They're Looking For.
Must Have
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, Statistics, or a related field, 0–2 years of experience in data analytics, data engineering, or machine learning, Proficiency in SQL for data querying and manipulation, programming skills in experience with SQL, Spark, or other big data tools for processing large-scale manufacturing/sensor datasets, Proficiency in ML frameworks (PyTorch, TensorFlow/Keras) and CV libraries (OpenCV, Detectron2, MMDetection), Experience with model deployment in production (eg, Docker, Kubernetes, edge devices) for real-time or batch inference
Nice to Have
Exposure to building or assisting in ML models using libraries like scikit-learn or TensorFlow, Experience with data visualization tools (e. g. , Spotfire, Power BI, Tableau), Familiarity with version control tools such as Git, Exposure to ML lifecycle tools like MLflow, DVC, or Kubeflow
