Eligibility Requirements

Ability to work overlapping hours with the US Pacific time zone, Ability to travel to manufacturing facilities in US/Europe to work for periods of time, Occasional domestic and/or global travel may be required for this position up to 20%

Must Have

Over 5+ years of hands-on experience in designing, programming, and implementing control systems for custom automation projects, Extensive experience in collaborating with cross-functional teams, including mechanical engineers and software developers, integrate control systems seamlessly into automation projects, understanding of custom automation requirements, with the ability to tailor solutions to meet the unique needs of clients, Ability to provide technical support and expertise during installation, commissioning, and maintenance phases of custom automation projects, Proficient in programming PLCs, HMIs, and other control devices to achieve precise control and monitoring of automation processes, System level approach to the complete machine program with a high focus on recovery from start to finish, Competent skills with PC’s, networking, device communications, integration, and design, Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, for working with customers and team members, Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from employees, management, customers, and general public, Knowledge in Commercial Components & Supporting Partners, Excellent Analytical Skills, Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, etc.), Seeking candidates for the position with expertise in control software, Must be Responsible, Self-Driven, Self-Motivated, and Able to Work Independently, experience with anyone of Siemens / AB Rockwell, MS Office applications (Outlook, Teams, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.), Attention to detail, Team building, Teamworking skills, with ability to work on his own, Time management, ability to quickly adapt to changing priorities, Possesses good communication skills, a positive “get-it-done” attitude, preferably having experience with US / Europe projects and Engineers, Ability to work independently on tasks and projects, Able to work overlapping hours with the US Pacific time zone (Morning hours - Pacific time), Respond to and address day-to-day production tasks and projects, Successfully meet deadlines and short turn around requests, The candidate will work with production engineering to release and support in process machines that have been purchased by our end customers, Ability to travel to manufacturing facilities in US/Europe to work for periods of time, Bachelor of Engineering – Electronics & Communication Engineering or Instrumentation and controls / Engineering preferred and 8+ years equivalent experience in industrial automation, Controls development and commissioning

Nice to Have

Beckhoff / Sigmatek / C# software experience will be an added advantage

What You'll Do.

Develop and manage software for control systems

Design and implement controls software

Collaborate with end users to enhance applications

Participate in full lifecycle of project development

Design clean-sheet automation systems

Translate customer requirements into design specifications

Evaluate design feasibility

Provide technical expertise

Design electrical systems for custom automation

Program and configure PLCs

Conduct testing and validation of control systems

Provide technical support during installation

Program devices like motors

Perform full system programming

Perform Design Reviews

Create and Review Detailed Bill of Materials
