Must Have
Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechatronic, or similar), Knowledge of current Australian regulations, electrical installation rules, and standards, 5+ years’ engineering experience across EV charging, or relevant industry, Experience managing DNSP connection enquiries, applications and approvals, AutoCAD skills, with experience producing 2D engineering drawings and design plans, A safety mindset and commitment to compliant engineering outcomes, Ability to manage concurrent projects and meet challenging deadlines, communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively across internal teams, contractors and suppliers
Nice to Have
Chartered Professional Engineer, RPEQ or VIC PE accreditation
What You'll Do.
Provide desktop evaluations
Undertake field inspections
Prepare concept and detailed engineering designs
Manage DNSP enquiries
applications and approvals
Review design drawings
Liaise with contractors
Support proof-of-concept activities
Assist with compliance
Support commissioning
operational and maintenance activities
Maintain engineering documentation
Participate in tender processes
Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
Mentor junior engineers
