Must have, or be able to obtain by time of hire, a valid driver’s license and meet requirements in accordance with SPPM 7. 10 and departmental driving standards., Ability and willingness to travel regionally, including occasional overnight travel., background check

What They're Looking For.

Must Have

A Bachelor’s degree in a relevant extension program discipline and two (2) years of related program experience. Any combination of relevant education and experience may be substituted for the educational requirements on a year-for-year basis., Experience developing and implementing related programs., Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)., Must have, or be able to obtain by time of hire, a valid driver’s license and meet requirements in accordance with SPPM 7. 10 and departmental driving standards., Ability and willingness to travel regionally, including occasional overnight travel.

Nice to Have

Experience with light-, medium-, and heavy-duty electric vehicles, including battery-electric and fuel-cell-electric vehicles., Technical expertise with EV charging technologies (AC Level 2, DC Fast Charging) and installation processes., Familiarity with Washington and regional utilities, including investor- and consumer-owned utilities., Knowledge of renewable energy and distributed energy resources., Knowledge of transportation decarbonization, carbon markets, and environmental justice., Experience managing grants and/or contracts., Experience developing funding proposals and identifying funding sources., Experience working with key interested stakeholders (e. g. fleet managers for businesses, industry, Tribal governments, schools, other public and private entities).
