Must Have
2+ years of experience in FP&A, investment analysis, public accounting, corporate finance, or a related field, Solid understanding of basic accounting principles and key business drivers impact on the financials, Advanced financial modeling skills, including experience building and maintaining complex Excel-based models, critical thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently in ambiguous environments, Self-motivated with a demonstrated track record of taking initiative and driving process improvements, High attention to detail and ownership mindset, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment, written and verbal communication skills with the ability to translate financial data into actionable insights for non-finance stakeholders
Nice to Have
Prior experience with Planful software or Sigma is not required, but the willingness to learn and use these tools and others is essential
What You'll Do.
Maintain and enhance the Global Energy Financial Model
incorporating updated assumptions
and long-range projections as business needs evolve
Own the monthly rolling forecast and annual budgeting process in partnership with Development
Perform variance analysis and track key assumptions to improve forecast accuracy
Identify opportunities to streamline planning and reporting processes through improved modeling and systems utilization
Partner with cross-functional teams to understand business drivers and assumptions and reflect them accurately in forecasts
Design comprehensive reporting packages and conduct monthly reviews with business partners to facilitate variance analysis and updates to monthly rolling forecast
Support project-level financial analysis
including cash flow modeling and sensitivity analysis
Assist in preparation of quarterly business plan updates and earnings support materials
Develop executive-ready presentations and reporting materials
highlighting key insights to stakeholders
