**Our Why** Datacom works with organisations and communities across Australia and New Zealand to make a difference in people’s lives and help organisations use the power of tech to innovate and grow. **About the Role (your why)** Our Endpoint Engineering team is responsible for creating and maintaining robust desktop Standard Operating Environments (SOE) for our customers, enabling remote support and ensuring standardisation across diverse IT landscapes. As the Endpoint Engineering Architect, you’ll work closely with customers to transform their businesses in line with cloud-first productivity and collaboration solutions as part of their digital transformation journey. You will also provide expert advice, develop ongoing processes, and help drive continuous improvement in customer environments. Our offices are based in Adelaide, Brisbane, Canberra, Melbourne and Sydney. We like to bring people together in person when we can, but we are mindful of the benefits of working from home for work/ life balance. We therefore leave it to you and the team you join to figure out what works best! Please note, you must be an **Australian Citizen** and be able to achieve Australian Government Baseline clearance to be successful in your application for this role. **What you’ll do ** The **Endpoint Engineering Architect** will be a point of escalation and provide mentoring and coaching to engineers. The following provides an overview of the end user solutions which we are seeking competence in (but not limited to): * A strong understanding of Enterprise endpoint management solutions (SCCM, Intune and JAMF ) * A strong understanding of Microsoft Windows end user operating systems configuration and deployment * A strong understanding of core Microsoft Supporting Infrastructure services (AD, Group Policy and users and computers) * Experience with AvePoint baseline * A good understanding of core Microsoft Supporting Infrastructure services (DHCP, DNS, PKI, Print Services, File Services,
