Consistently lift, push and carry objects up to 75 lbs, Transport patients weighing up to 500 lbs, Consistently pull up to 10lbs, Frequently pull up to 250lbs, Frequently stoop, bend, crouch, kneel and climb, Frequently reach above shoulder level, Occasional crawling, Perceive attributes of an object through touch, Frequently finger and handle objects, Occasionally firmly grasp, twist, and turn objects, Hear as it relates to normal high and low frequencies, See as it relates to general, near, far, color, and peripheral vision, depth perception and visual monotony
What They're Looking For.
Must Have
High School Graduate or GED Equivalent, Successful completion of BLS Course, Basic computer skills
Nice to Have
Specialized training and experience in processing instruments, especially Flexible Endoscopes, Customized orientation to each endoscopic procedure
What You'll Do.
Perform care and maintenance of GI Endoscopes
Perform set up and breakdown of procedures
Provide intra-procedure assistance
Assist with transport of patients
disinfect or calibrate scopes
Maintain working inventories
Anticipate physician needs
Provide patient with physical and emotional support
Troubleshoot issues pertaining to endoscopes
Assist with ordering and restocking supplies
Assist with scheduling patients
Control flow of daily schedule
Assist in the observation area
Perform pre-op phone calls
Perform post-op calls
How You'll Work.
Team & Collaboration
Technical support to the nursing staff and physicians; Intra-procedure assistance to nurses and physicians; Communicating with office staff, surgery coordinators and physicians
