What They're Looking For.
Must Have
High School Diploma or GED required, 0-1 years experience required, Valid Driver’s license required, Ability to communicate in English, both orally and in writing required, Multi - tasking, organizing & priority setting skills required
Nice to Have
Experience with Hand Tools and Material handling equipment, i. e. hand carts, dollies, etc. preferred, Experience with Standard Office Equipment (Phone, Fax, Copy Machine, Scanner, Email/Voice Mail) preferred, Experience with Standard Office Technology in a Windows based environment preferred
What You'll Do.
Assist in decontamination and distribution of flexible endoscopy equipment
Provide support and assistance to the GI staff
endoscopic scopes and equipment
Maintain endoscopic equipment
Perform safety checks to verify proper equipment functioning
Maintain inventories of endoscopic equipment and supplies
Ensure appropriate and safe storage of endoscopic scopes
Notify lead technician of any deficit in stock
Conduct weekly maintenance of endoscopy washer/disinfectors
Maintain records of all endoscopes processed
Maintain a safe and clean working environment
Assist physician in the endoscopic procedure
Prepare rooms according to endoscopic procedure requirements
Attend in service training to validate or refresh skills
