High School Diploma/ GED or equivalent OR 2 years of work experience
Nice to Have
Endo/GI & Reprocessing experience highly preferred, Diploma from an approved Sterile Processing Program, 1 year of work experience in health care, supply management, or operating department or procedure room experience, Certified Flexible Endoscope Reprocessor (CFER), CBSPD
What You'll Do.
Provide assistance to physicians during procedures
Clean and disinfect endoscopes and accessories
Monitor endoscopes and instruments for performance
Identify and label instruments for processing
Operate automated endoscope reprocessing equipment
Follow policy procedures protocols and infection control guidelines
Maintain patient data and quality control logs
and maintenance of endoscopes
Inspect endoscopes and report broken equipment
and store instruments and supplies
Maintain a safe and clean work area

And we’re excited to get to know you and find out what you’ll bring to this endoscopy support role. **Your Everyday** * Provides assistance to physicians during procedures. * Clean and disinfect a variety of endoscopes and endoscopic accessories. * Monitor endoscopes and instruments to ensure they are performing at optimal levels. * Identify and label instruments for processing and high-level disinfection expiration. * Operate and maintain automated endoscope reprocessing equipment utilizing proper operating procedures and methods in accordance with manufacturers recommended parameters. * Follow policy procedures protocols and infection control guidelines. * Maintain patient data and quality control logs. * Oversee the care, handling, and maintenance of endoscopes. Inspects endoscopes and reports broken equipment to supervisor. * Clean the endoscopes properly, dry, and store instruments and supplies using proper stocking and storage techniques. * Maintain a safe and clean work area. **The Must-Haves** **Minimum:** * High School Diploma/ GED or equivalent OR 2 years of work experience. **Preferred:** * Endo/GI & R
