What They're Looking For.
Must Have
High school diploma or GED, Nationally certified and licensed EMT, 1+ year as an EMT, Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, American Heart Association BLS certification, American Red Cross BLS certification
Nice to Have
1-2 years patient triage experience, Urgent care experience, Emergency department experience
What You'll Do.
Address patient inquiries
Provide patient assistance
Explain prescribed medications
Offer guidance on lifestyle modifications
Address patient questions
Support clinical operations
Conduct preliminary evaluations
Determine medical urgency
Perform basic clinical procedures
Obtain medical histories
Assist with minor medical procedures
Document patient information accurately
Maintain electronic health records
Work closely with clinical team
Communicate effectively with providers
Relay patient information
Collaborate on discharge plans
Support training of new team members
