Must Have
Four year degree in Social Sciences, High school diploma and two years experience, Obtain First Aid and CPR certification, Pass physical examination and tuberculosis test
What You'll Do.
Maintain updated roster of student placements
Collaborate with area employers
Notify employers of tax credit
Notify employers of fidelity bonding
Prepare and update employer roster
Correspond with Agent of Record
Mentor student on disclosing convictions
Mentor student on parole status
Provide knowledge on expungement process
Provide knowledge on Certificate of Rehabilitation
Provide counseling to students
Analyze and evaluate employment assets
Analyze and evaluate employment aptitudes
Provide information on occupational opportunities
Provide information on job requirements
Provide information on training resources
Provide information on rehabilitation resources
Assist in formulating plans
Refer to appropriate employers
Refer to training facilities
Refer to educational facilities
Refer to community agencies
Assess students for employment needs
Assess students for training needs
Assess students for CTE needs
Coordinate referrals with Program Director
Provide resume writing services
Provide mock interview services
Provide time management training
Provide relationship training
Provide instruction following training
Assist students to become workforce prepared
Assist students in locating employment
Assist students in securing employment
Assist students in locating educational services
Assist students in securing educational services
Assist students in locating CTE training
Assist students in securing CTE training
Assist students in assembling legal work documents
Assist students in completing initial résumé
Assist with recruitment of parole students
Work with students post-placement
Obtain verification of student employment
Work with students to address issues
Assist students who lose their job
Make appropriate referrals to outside agencies
Participate in training
Participate in mock interviews
Monitor students with best retention rates
Maintain progress notes in files
Ensure program compliance with policies
Ensure program compliance with regulations
Ensure program compliance with contract obligations
Develop knowledge of TC activities
Serve as Community Advocate
Perform other related duties
