What They're Looking For.
Must Have
5+ years of experience in labor and employment law, knowledge of federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, including FLSA, FMLA, ADA, Title VII, and related workplace compliance requirements, Proven track record of advising clients on employment litigation avoidance, workplace investigations, policy development, and risk management strategies, Excellent communication, negotiation, technology, and problem-solving skills, Juris Doctor degree or equivalent and licensed to practice law in Michigan or eligible for admission
Nice to Have
Experience with employment litigation and multi-state compliance issues, SHRM, HRCI, or other relevant employment law or HR-related certifications are a plus
