To provide and coordinate training and programs at the facility; to ensure that State, Federal, and facility standards are met’ and to upgrade the skills of all staff. We are looking for a talented Staff Development Specialist who share our dedication to provide and coordinate training and programs at the facility. **Job Responsibilities:** * Assists in planning, designing, and implementing specialized training to be used toward advance training for employees in the form of workshops, seminars, and/or coursework * Assesses, in cooperation with other staff, the training needs of staff at all levels within the facility * Prepares written reports and provides for testing of employees enrolled in courses * Ensures that required staff training opportunities are scheduled as needed/required.
