**Join our Software Engineering Team** Are you a computer science, mathematics, physics, or engineering student interested in geometric modelling, computational imaging, and industrial X-ray computed tomography (CT)? Join Waygate Technologies, a global leader in Non-Destructive Testing (NDT), and help develop next-generation software for industrial CT systems. **Partner with the Best** As part of our CT reconstruction and algorithm team, you will develop software, algorithms, and mathematical models that improve the image quality and geometric accuracy of industrial CT systems. In this role, you will: * Develop geometric models of industrial CT systems * Reduce system-induced image artefacts and geometric errors * Implement and evaluate CT reconstruction algorithms * Collaborate with experts in software, algorithms, and X-ray imaging Your work will contribute directly to improving real-world industrial CT applications. **Fuel your passion** To be successful in this role, you should have: * Programming experience in Python or C++ * GPU programming experience with CUDA or OpenCL is a plus * Interest in geometric modelling, linear algebra, computational imaging, or inverse problems * Knowledge of projective geometry is beneficial * Current enrolment in a master’s or bachelor’s program in computer science, mathematics, physics, engineering, or a related field * Fluency in English or German _**Please include your transcript of records with your application.**_ **Work in a way that works for you** We offer flexible working arrangements to support your studies: * Up to 50% remote work * Flexible working hours around lectures and exams * Typically 12-20 working hours per week * Opportunity to continue the topic as a bachelor’s or master’s thesis **Working with us** At Baker Hughes and Waygate Technologies, our people are at the heart of what we do.
