Nice to Have

Certified Veterinary Technician Specialist in ECC, VTS in Internal Medicine, VTS in Anesthesia, Previous experience in training role, Support newer VEG veterinarians

What You'll Do.

Coordinate with nursing leadership

Identify training needs

Assess Assistants and Nurses for competency

Determine skill competency

Evaluate content knowledge

Implement VEG training programs

Act as point person for programs

Manage time for mentoring

Develop nursing care teams

Facilitate in-person training

Provide direct 1:1 training

Set up peer training opportunities

Maximize educational outreach opportunities

Discuss program development

Discuss training objectives

Discuss additional needs

Provide educational opportunities

Engage in self-reflection

Modify leveling program

Enhance leveling program

Ensure training alignment with culture

Ensure training alignment with mission
