Bachelor's degree or diploma from an accredited institution in emergency management or related safety field, Over 5 years of related professional experience, Experience in the development and implementation of emergency and fire protection program metrics, Legally able to work in Canada on a permanent basis

What You'll Do.
Manage Emergency Preparedness and Response Program
Lead Emergency Response Team
Ensure EOC operational readiness
Act as Incident Commander
Develop and deliver training
Provide ongoing communication
and implement policies
Conduct inspections and audits
Prepare and maintain program documentation
Conduct emergency exercise drills
Implement and monitor fire protection program
Coordinate fire protection inspections
Serve as Fire Safety Director
Lead Inspection and Testing by Service Providers
Ensure adequate First Aid coverage
How You'll Work.
Team & Collaboration
Coordination with first responders; Maintain working relationships with external agencies; Coordination with public safety agencies; Coordination with community organizations; Coordination with local emergency responders; Coordinate fire protection reviews with stakeholders; Coordinate fire audits with stakeholders; Coordinate site conditions inspections with stakeholders; Guidance, training, and mentorship to other employees
Communication Scope
Communication skills; Presentation skills; High level presentations for management review; Performing incident reports
