The position leads the implementation of emergency preparedness standards and initiatives across system, regional, and local entities to ensure readiness for all-hazard events. Key responsibilities include developing and maintaining emergency response plans, conducting risk assessments, coordinating with regulatory agencies, and advising leadership on compliance. As Hospital Safety Officer, the role enforces safety policies, conducts facility inspections, investigates hazards, and drives corrective actions to maintain accreditation and regulatory compliance. Flexibility to respond during non-standard hours is required to support critical incidents. **Responsibilities** * Manage the regional Emergency Management and Safety programs to ensure regulatory requirements are met, including completing surveys and investigations from regulatory agencies. * Complete Pre-Construction Risk Assessments (PCRA’s) and Infection Control Risk Assessments (ICRA’s) to support construction and incident response * Conduct Fire Drills for all hospital and ambulatory sites * Conduct annual emergency management exercises for all hospital and clinic locations * Develops, maintains and implements all Hazard Vulnerability Assessments, Business Continuity Plans and Emergency Management Plans for assigned service area * Supports the organization’s response to disasters/emergencies
